Lizzie's First Concert

We joined another family (I'm holding their beautiful daughter Reagon) for a David Gray and Ray Lamontagne concert. The weather was gorgeous and it was fun to sit out on the grass. Unfortunately, we had to leave early since Lizzie's headphones broke and because she went into melt down mode. We really enjoyed the few songs we got to hear!

Gracie Making Lizzie Laugh

Gracie is such a wonderful big cousin to Lizzie. Elizabeth loves both Gracie and Ally, but holds a special fondness for Gracie because Gracie was always making Lizzie laugh.

Pittsburgh, Summer 2010

We went back to Pittsburgh for a week to visit with my sister and her family. We had a wonderful time just hanging out together and taking little trips to places such as the Children's Museum. Here are some pictures of us at the museum. I love the first picture of Gracie since she was so brave and climbed all the way up in this three story climbing area. I also love the pictures of Ally and Lizzie creating bubbles as they teetered back and forth. The last picture is a hoot and is of my brother-in-law Rob trying to hula hoop.

Soergel's Orchard

While in Pittsburgh, we went to a great farm called Soergel's Orchard that had animals, food, and little houses for kids to run through.

Expensive Protective Gear

Now that Lizzie is starting to climb, walk and fall over a lot, we decided to buy her this protective head gear. She refuses to wear it and pulls it off her head every chance she gets. We've put the hat on one of her beloved stuffed animals in hopes of trying to persuade her to wear the thing. We never thought in a million years that we would have spent money to protect a stuffed animals head!
