Father's Day Gifts from the Kids

I love that Liz said that she knows that Brett loves her because he puts her to bed. I believe men become Father's not because they helped make a baby, but because of how they treat that baby. Brett is such an awesome Dad and I'm so glad I chose him for Liz and Scott.

We Shouldn't Laugh....But We Did

Scott has been having a problem biting others at school. We've been working with him and the biting incidents have decreased from around 11 a day to one or two a day. Yesterday, he only had one biting incident....and it was a teacher. The report below reads, 'Scott was sitting on the floor with the blocks. Scott leaned over to pick up a block, bumping his face on a teacher's foot. Scott turned and bit the teacher on her toes.' We know biting is not a laughing matter, but this one was funny no?

Pretty Ballerina

Our neighbor gave Liz this beautiful tutu. It's made from a headband and tulle tied to the headband. Very clever!

What a 4 Year Old Brings to the Movies

I took Liz to see the movie Maleficent. She told me that she needed a bag to bring her stuff. I handed her a backpack and she said 'oh no, I need my Elmo bag with wheels because I have a lot of stuff'. What does a 4 year old bring to a movie? Inside her Elmo bag was her Maleficent doll and horns (makes sense), her slippers in case her feet get cold, her snake because he wanted to see the movie too, and Lightning McQueen (not sure why).
