Happy 2nd Birthday Scotty! We couldn't imagine our family without our beautiful baby boy. I know Daddy doesn't look so thrilled in the picture, but that's because you normally use his shirt to wipe your mouth.

4th of July

We had such a wonderful 4th of July. We had some good friends over and many of the families in the neighborhood were outside. Liz did sparklers for the first time, but we did insist that she wear an oven glove. Brett was jumping up and down like a four year old when some of his fireworks went off :)

 

Pool Time

It's Rude to Ignore People

Liz wanted to ask me something last night at dinner and I told her that she needed to take a bite of her dinner and then ask me after she was done chewing. She told me that it was rude to ignore people....then she took a bite and I was sitting there with my mouth open.

Vancouver June 2014

What a great vacation! It was the first time in about 6 years where we went on a vacation that did not involve visiting family or friends. We went to the Vancouver Aquarium, Science Center, swam at the Stanley Park pool, rode on the Stanley Park train,....just had wonderful moments spending time together. My favorite parts of the trip were watching Liz and Scott play together. I can't wait until our next vacation.

I wish we would have taken pictures of Lizzie on the roller coaster and the other rides. We did get pictures of the ponies and the smaller train :)
