Card for Lizzie's Teacher
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Liz made a card for each of her three teachers. We were so impressed with her cards even though there were patterns to follow. Here is the card for her Teacher Alicia because she's 'soft and cuddly'. Teacher Brian received a fish because he likes to swim and Teacher Laurie got a card with a flower and butterfly because 'she's pretty'.
Lizzie's First Baseball Game
Brett took Lizzie to her first baseball game between the Seattle Mariners and the Texas Rangers. They were joined by our friends Ken and Kelly and their son Alex. Lizzie is in love with her foam finger.
Easter Eggs During Passover
During Passover, the kids are required to observe a kosher diet which means a lot of dairy products. I took the kids to school and was getting Liz settled in to eat her breakfast when I noticed that Brett had packed a beautiful hard-boiled Easter egg for her breakfast. There were a few kids asking about the beautiful green and blue egg :)
Be Brave
I was on my way to donate blood and was doing breathing exercises to keep my pulse and blood pressure down (they go up when I think about needles). As I was leaving, Liz gave me a kiss and hug and told me to be brave. My pulse and blood pressure were perfect when I got to the blood bank :)
