Out of the Mouths of Babes

Lizzie and I were talking and I pointed out that her one dimple came from her Grandma Carol. Lizzie said 'I want to see' so we went to look in the bathroom mirror. She then asked to see Carol's picture. I showed her Carol's picture and Liz pointed to Carol's dimple and her own dimple saying 'Same Same Mom'. She then said 'I want to hug her'. I started to tear up and Lizzie cradled my face in her hands and said 'Ah, you miss your Mommy' and pointed to my Mom's picture which was right next to Carol's picture. I told her yes and she told me 'It's alright, she's here. She's here.' It's amazing how healing children can be.
